Rogue Valley Sewer Services is offering Erosion and Sediment Control Certification Classes on May 7th and May 8th.  Registration is open.  There are 25 slots for each class, the certification you receive is good throughout Oregon and cost about $350 less than the other options!  Details below:

Purpose: DEQ1200-C and 1200-CN permits require a certified Erosion and Sediment Control Inspector for the project. Designated inspectors must have completed one of the DEQ approved certification courses. RVSS' course is DEQ approved and will provide the basic information needed to apply for a permit, create an erosion and sediment control plan, and install and inspect erosion and sediment control devices.

Who should attend: Anyone preparing Erosion Prevention and Sediment Control Plans, personnel designated as Erosion and Sediment Control Inspectors, contractors and property owners disturbing ground in Oregon.

Schedule:

Course begins at 8:30am and is planned to end at 3:00pm. A written exam must be completed with at least an 80% percent score to pass and receive certification.

There will be a 1 hour field practical application. Dress appropriately for field work.
